What is Reform and Repeal
Reform and Repeal is a think tank - technically a company limited by guarantee - created to arrive at practical, workable policies to get the UK back on track.
The economy is not growing. In fact measured by the only criterion which matters, GNP per capita, it is probably shrinking. The number coming into the country mean that our wealth per head is declining rather then growing.
Our Approach
We believe that the policies necessary to bring our country back on track are known:
- We have to scrap Net Zero as a major impediment to economic growth.
- We have to get immigration under control, which means massively reducing the number coming here legally and preventing any illegal entrants from being allowed to stay - as this is a massive perverse incentive to bad behaviour.
- We have to stop and reverse the apparently inexorable growth in the size of the state, the proportion of our wealth it consumes and, as part of that, reduce the tax burden. In order to do this, we effectively need to re-engineer the way we are governed to remove perverse incentives to bad behaviour and encourage actions and behaviours which improve the lives of our citizens. In short, we want to put our own people first and stop the pernicious, damaging, self-harming process by which successive governments have sacrificed the interests of the British people for an unappreciative - even hostile - wider world. We reject post-colonial guilt and believe that the British Isles and its people have over the last 300 years made a greater contribution to global progess than anyone else.
We plan over the coming months to develop a series of papers of two kinds: policy papers which outline specific policies and how to deliver them; and discussion papers which are more general. Throughout however our goal is practical - to set out how all this can be delivered in practice.

Who We Are
We are members of Reform UK and believe that only Reform is committed to delivering what needs to be done. However this is a policy programme. Therefore if any other political party, or indeed members of other parties, wish to join us in our endeavour they are very welcome.
